We’re looking for local residents to become FusionConnects Volunteers!
Looking for a volunteer opportunity that will allow you to engage with your community and create a meaningful impact? We want to hear from you!

- Do you enjoy connecting with others?
- Do you have the time / capacity to chat with other people about your interests and showcase the lifestyle that can be built here?
If you answered yes to the above questions – you will make a great FusionConnects Volunteer.
About the Role:
First, we will get to know you, and get a feel for the things you enjoy about our city. We ask that applicants fill out a short form and submit it to the Fusion Board of Directors.
Once we do an intake, we’ll add you to our ambassador list. When we receive FusionConnects inquiries from individuals who match your interest, we’ll reach out to see if you have the time / interest in speaking to these individuals. We’ll connect the two of you so you may act as an ambassador. This might look like a zoom call to share some cool spots for them to try out, or it might be heading to a local coffee shop or a cool hiking spot together – you can even plan to meet at a Fusion event, so your Fusion Connection has a familiar face/name.
Volunteer responsibilities:
- Taking the time to connect with a new or soon to be “Johner” that you’ve been matched up with (virtually or in-person).
- Sharing some ideas of what might spark their interest in our city
- Responding to requests from the Fusion team (even if it’s to tell us you don’t have the time to reach out to someone).
- Letting the Fusion team know your thoughts about the program
- Provide a criminal record check to the Fusion Saint John Board of Directors.
